Reduce emissions and save between $1,500 to $3,500 per year in home heating bills when you transition from home heating oil to an electric heat pump.
Low-to-median-income households can receive up to $15,000 through the Oil to Heat Pump Affordability Program. PLUS, receive an upfront $250 payment when you commit to transitioning.
Higher-income households may apply for up to $5,000 in grant funding through the Canada Greener Homes Grant Program, or a 10-year, interest-free loan of up to $40,000 through the Greener Homes Loan Program.
The Province of Nova Scotia is also providing incentives to supplement the costs of purchasing and installing your heat pump system
